Infant Tylenol Recall

Johnson & Johnson's McNeil Consumer Healthcare division is voluntarily recalling all one-ounce bottles of grape-flavored liquid infant TYLENOL® medicine because parents have had problems with the newly designed TYLENOL® SimpleMeasure™ dosing system. Parents have reported that a protective cover on the top of the bottles meant to limit how much liquid medicine could be drawn into a plastic syringe didn't work correctly. No adverse events associated with the problem have occurred and the risk of a serious adverse medical event is remote. Consumers can continue to use their Infants' TYLENOL® provided the protective cover at the top of the bottle remains in place.
Consumers can request a refund by visiting www.tylenol.com  or contacting McNeil at 1-888-222-6036. Parents and caregivers with any health questions or concerns should contact their healthcare provider.
